Mini-Games Guide

Master every mini-game and combat challenge in the Endacopia demo.

Last updated:

Endacopia features at least two distinct mini-game or challenge sequences in the demo: the soccer ball kicking challenge and the Clocky combat encounter. This guide covers both in detail.

Soccer Ball Kicking Challenge

The soccer ball challenge appears in the demo as an optional mini-game. You do not need to complete it to finish the demo walkthrough, but it is required for 100% completion and some item unlocks.

How It Works

The mini-game is purely timing-based. A soccer ball appears and bounces in an arc. Your goal is to keep it in the air by clicking at the right moment.

Timing Window

The most reliable method, according to community testing:

  1. Watch Mellow’s eyes during the kick
  2. The eyes have three positions: top, centre, and bottom
  3. These positions correspond to the ball’s simplified vertical position
  4. Click when the eyes move from the centre to the bottom position

The first kick is the hardest because you have no prior rhythm to follow. After the first successful kick, the timing window becomes more intuitive.

Tips for Success

  • Turn off all background music — the rhythm of the ball bounce is easier to feel in silence
  • Turn off lights — distractions significantly reduce your ability to time clicks
  • Do not move your mouse — your cursor position does not affect the ball physics in this mini-game
  • Start slow — the first one or two kicks are the hardest. Do not be discouraged by early failures
  • The ball has a static hitbox — some players report the ball follows a predictable arc, making timing more consistent than it first appears

Clocky Combat

Clocky is the first major enemy encounter in the demo. It guards a door in the hallway after you solve the Wall Bank puzzle. Clocky looks like a circular clock with a face and hostile intentions.

Enemy Analysis

  • Type: Melee attacker with telegraphed charges
  • Weakness: Stamina management — Clocky can be baited into overcommitting
  • Health: Approximately 6 rounds of successful blocks and counters

Attack Pattern

Clocky’s attack cycle:

  1. Telegraph — Clocky’s clock hands animate in a striking motion (watch for this before every attack)
  2. Charge — Clocky moves toward Mellow to strike
  3. Recovery — After a charge, Clocky briefly pauses (this is your counter window)

Round structure (repeat 6 times):

  1. Wait for Clocky’s hands to begin the strike animation
  2. Right-click to block (you do not need to hold — a well-timed press is sufficient)
  3. After blocking, immediately left-click twice to counter
  4. Left-click once more if stamina allows
  5. Wait for the next cycle

Do not attack more than three times per counter window. Clocky will counter-strike if you overextend. If you run out of stamina, stop attacking entirely and wait for stamina to recover between cycles.

Stamina Management

Each attack costs approximately 15-20% of your stamina bar. Each block costs approximately 10-15%. With a full bar of 100%, you can safely:

  • Block twice (30% used)
  • Attack three times (60% used)
  • Have 10% remaining for one more action

Aim to always enter each cycle with at least 40% stamina. If you drop below this, skip your counter-attack and just block for one round to recover.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I use items during mini-games or combat? A: No. Items cannot be used in combat or mini-games. The inventory is inaccessible during these sequences.

Q: Is the soccer ball challenge required for the demo ending? A: No. The soccer ball mini-game is optional and not required to complete the demo.

Q: Does Clocky have any other attacks besides the charge? A: In the demo, Clocky only uses the charge attack. The full game may add additional attack patterns.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about Endacopia.

What happens if I fail the soccer ball challenge?

Failing the soccer ball challenge simply means the ball falls. You can retry immediately. There is no penalty for failure.

Can I save between combat encounters?

No. The demo has no save system. If you close the game, you restart from the beginning of the demo.

Is there a pattern to Clocky's attack timing?

Yes. Clocky's attacks follow a consistent rhythm of approximately 2 seconds between charges. Watch the clock hands as your primary telegraph.
